Overview
Miti is built with privacy in mind. Receipt images are processed and immediately discarded — we never store your spending data.
1. What We Collect
Account info: Your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email. Used only to identify your account.
Scan count: The number of receipts you scan per month. Used solely to manage your free-tier limit.
2. What We Don't Collect
- Receipt images — processed in memory and immediately discarded.
- Receipt content — returned to your device and stored locally only.
- Location data — never requested.
- Contacts — never accessed.
3. Third-Party Services
Miti uses third-party services for authentication, payment processing, and infrastructure. Each is bound by its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
4. Data Security
All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. Receipt images never touch disk on our servers — they exist only in memory during processing.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
